5-Day Manali Honeymoon Itinerary: Snow, Romance & Adventure

By the Dashaur Heights team 7 min read

Snow-capped peaks, pine forests, hot cups of coffee on a private balcony and a little adventure every day – it’s easy to see why Manali is one of India’s favourite honeymoon destinations. This 5-day itinerary is based on our Glorious Honeymoon Package and balances romance, rest and excitement without rushing.

Day 1: Arrive, unwind & settle in

Arrive in Manali and head to Burwa (we can arrange pickup from the Manali bus stand). After check-in, take it slow – mountain air and altitude can be tiring after a long journey. Enjoy a relaxed lunch, a nap and an evening on your balcony as the valley lights come on.

Romantic touch: a 3 km ATV ride along the riverside in the afternoon is a fun, easy way to start your adventures together.

Day 2: Solang Valley & Anjani Mahadev

Start early for Solang Valley, the adventure capital near Manali. Go horse riding through the meadows and continue towards the Anjani Mahadev Temple, known for its natural ice formation in winter. Couples who love a thrill can add paragliding with panoramic views of the valley.

Return by evening for a warm dinner at our in-house restaurant.

Day 3: Snow day or cable car

In the snow season (roughly December to February) spend the day on snow activities – zipline, snow scooter rides and tubing. In the non-snow months, take the cable car ride up the mountain for sweeping views of the Solang slopes.

Tonight: the highlight of the trip – a private candle-light dinner on your balcony with romantic décor and a cake cutting ceremony.

Day 4: Skiing or a gentle trek

In winter, book a beginner skiing session on the Solang slopes – no experience needed, and instructors are available. In other seasons, choose a guided one-day trek through forests and villages around the valley. Pack a light picnic and take your time.

Day 5: Old Manali, Hadimba Temple & goodbye

Before you leave, visit the Hadimba Devi Temple set in a cedar forest, walk through Old Manali’s cafés and pick up woollens or souvenirs on Mall Road. Check out and carry home the memories.
