Dashaur Heights is located on Burwa Road in Burwa, Manali (Himachal Pradesh 175103), on the scenic route from Manali town towards Solang Valley and the Atal Tunnel. It’s a peaceful spot away from the town’s bustle, yet close to the valley’s best attractions. Here’s how to get here.
By air
The nearest airport is Kullu–Manali Airport at Bhuntar, roughly 50 km south of Manali, with limited flights mainly from Delhi and Chandigarh. Taxis are available outside the terminal; the drive along the Beas river takes around 2 hours depending on traffic.
Many travellers instead fly to Chandigarh, which has far more connections, and continue by road (around 8–10 hours) or by overnight bus.
By train
Manali has no railway station. The most convenient major railhead is Chandigarh, from where you can take a taxi or a Volvo bus to Manali. Plan for a full day of road travel from the station.
By bus
Overnight Volvo and semi-sleeper buses run daily from Delhi (Kashmere Gate, Majnu ka Tilla and other points) and Chandigarh to Manali. The Delhi journey usually takes 12–14 hours.
Good news: Dashaur Heights offers pickup and drop from the Manali bus stand, so you don’t have to hunt for a taxi after a long ride. Just share your bus details with us when you book.
By car
From Delhi, drive via Chandigarh, Kiratpur, Bilaspur, Mandi and Kullu to Manali. From Manali town, continue north towards Solang Valley to reach Burwa. The mountain stretch is scenic but winding – start early and avoid driving after dark if you’re not used to hill roads.
- Parking: free on-site parking is available for guests.
